How to Create your first Editions Collection

Initial Steps

1. Visit https://luminex.io/ordinals/launch and select the "Editions" collection type.

2. Fill out the form with the basic information of the collection: Collection Name, Creator Name, Collection Size and the Launch URL (the unique identifier of the collection).

3. Click "Next".

Artwork

1. Paste the Inscription Id of the artwork that will used to create the editions collection. This is the artwork that the minters will receive upon minting. If you artwork is not yet inscribed, you can do so here.

2. Make sure that the artwork is correct

Phases

1. Fill in the information for the Public phase of your launch. You can specify the collection launch time, how many mints can any address mint during public phase and the price per mint in BTC. Please make sure to select a date time scheduled in at least 12 hours, and keep in mind that there is a maximum limit of 2 BTC raised for a single collection. Edition Collections cannot have any whitelist phases.

2. Click "Next"

Publish

1. This is the last step before launching your collection, make sure to upload the preview image that will be show in the Luminex Collections table and a description.

2. Connect and verify your X Account. This can be a project specific account, or the creator's account.

3. Once you confirm that all the details are correct, click "Publish" and your collection will be sent for review. Review usually takes maximum 12 hrs.

Owner Section

1. Log in to your creator address to make changes to the collection settings on the Mint Page of your collection. You can edit collection details such as pausing or ending the collection, adding new whitelist addresses, reducing supply, and downloading the inscription ids file to be uploaded on Magic Eden for secondary market submissions.

2. Once the collection is approved by the Luminex team, it will automatically be shown in the Luminex Collections table.
